Sports Bash 2008 - October 18, 2008

We’ve got spirit, yes we do.  We’ve got spirit, how ‘bout you?  Join the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Hays Development Corporation and Eagle Communications for Sports Bash 2008: a community party.

Sports Bash will be a party for the community that will take place Saturday, October 18 at the Fox Pavilion, 1202 Main Street.  The doors will open at 7:00 p.m., with the entertainment going from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.  “We want this to be an exciting event, giving people throughout the community a chance to get together and enjoy all the sports they are passionate about,” explained Allison Ochoa, Public Relations Coordinator for the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will feature a variety of entertainment including live music by Plan B, delicious game-day appetizers, a live auction, and games throughout the evening.  Community members can expect a night of excitement as well as a unique, fun-filled experience.

Since the event is sports-themed, participants are encouraged to show off their team spirit by dressing up in their favorite team’s colors or uniform, helping add to the excitement of the evening.  However, costumes are not required.
