Hays Larks Baseball Game – Friday, July 25

Come out and enjoy one of America’s favorite pastimes as several of the downtown Chestnut Street District merchants sponsor the Hays Larks baseball game Friday, July 25 at 6:00 p.m. at Larks Park, located at 4th and Oak.

“The Larks have been in Hays for a long time and are an important part of Hays’ history. It is important for businesses to come together so they can stay here,” explained Tom Mai, Owner of Around the World and one the participating businesses.

There are a total of 14 businesses participating in the sponsorship, which includes Around the World, Augustine’s Bakery, Bildschon Baby, Bildschon Haus, Café Semolino, C.S. Post & Co., Dennis Schiel Studio & Gallery, Dwayne’s Designs, Furniture Look, Hays Public Library, New York Life, Northglen Antiques, Scrapbook Frenzy and Simply Charmed.

As part of the sponsorship, the downtown merchants will also be taking turns working the concession stand, as well as distributing t-shirts to the crowd between innings.

Stop by Larks Park Friday evening, July 25 and join the Chestnut Street District merchants in cheering on the local Hays Larks baseball team.
