Bildschon Haus Relocates to Historic Basgall Building

The Bildschon Haus, originally located at 1013 Main Street, has relocated, making the historic Basgall Building at 1100 Main Street its new   “beautiful home.”

The Bildschon Haus officially opened its doors for business at its new location on Monday, January 7th. “When the beautiful historic Basgall building became available we saw a wonderful opportunity to move and expand,” explained Michele Flax, owner. “Thanks to the wonderful support of this community we have been able to grow much faster than we could have ever imagined.

Besides adding color to the wall, little renovation needed to be done to the main floor before moving in. However, plans for renovating the second floor are in progress. “We are excited to watch the renovation of the second floor unfold and move into that space as well this coming fall,” explained Michele. “Christmas 2008 is going to be amazing.”

The Bildschon Haus will continue to offer the same merchandise as before, expanding their lines of linens, dishware and table top décor. They will now also house a full service design center where customers can browse through fabric for any number of projects or choose from their terrific high quality Hunter Douglas window covering line. “Hunter Douglas leads the industry in window coverings and we’re excited to bring this option to our customer base,” explained Michele.

If you haven’t already, stop into Bildschon Haus at their new location at 1100 Main Street. Also, look for news to be coming soon about their previous location at 1013 Main Street. It won’t be an empty building for long! The Bildschon Haus is open for business Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
