  Pioneer Day 8th Annual Pioneer Day - Wednesday, May 13
The 8th annual Pioneer Day is taking place at the Ellis County Historical Society Museum in Downtown Hays. This outdoor, educational and fun event is being held on May 13, 2009. This event is known to attract over 700 children, so come join in the fun and learn about our Pioneer past.

  DHDC Donor Reception DHDC Completes Fund Drive
The Downtown Hays Development Corporation celebrated a momentous occasion on Saturday, April 18 in the historic Strand Theater building located at 1102 Main Street. Over 75 Downtown Hays contributors and friends were in attendance to celebrate the completion of a fund drive that netted nearly $690,000. Read More . . .
